Who are we?

We are two friends who have known each other since our teenage years who share a love of media studies and are fascinated by belief. Based in San Jose, California and Exeter, England, we see the impact of digital media across two English speaking cultures.

Capri is a university lecturer and Bryce is a senior learning and development specialist. For the last few years we’ve been discussing and categorising memes and looking into the intention, and often manipulation behind them. Together we have looked at ways to help identify false information online and to recognise the intent behind it.
